Situational Awareness and Operations Platform

The StarLight® Situational Awareness and Operations Platform is a software and services suite geared toward citizen and officer safety using decision support tools that facilitate real-time access to relevant threat and crime-related data.

StarLight® was designed to bridge the agency and inter-agency gaps in communication through the establishment of a common operating platform and picture.

Our solutions are designed to aggregate and transform various data artifacts into strategic intelligence from a single common operating picture perspective. These data artifacts can include data from applications, databases, sensors and video solutions. From Patrol to Command Staff, and all positions in between, StarLight® provides just enough information – just in time to end users where they are and when they need it!

Through a process of data aggregation, data fusion, data visualization and real-time graphical representation, StarLight® empowers Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Critical Infrastructure agencies, Virtual Command Centers and Field Responders alike with real-time mission critical intelligence. This form of data fusion and data visualization permits effective intelligence led policing and an opportunity for all public safety stakeholders to plan, simulate, train, and respond from a common operating picture.

Modules

Community Interaction

The StarLight® Community Interaction Module (CIM) enhances transparency, collaboration, and accountability by supporting and documenting law enforcements interaction with citizens, students, local businesses, NGOs, victims, and victim advocate organizations.

The CIM supports LEA’s initiatives and community-oriented policing by documenting and then analyzing all community interactions, such as community forums, business, advocate and youth group meetings.

Multi-Jurisdictional Be On the Lookout (BOLO)

The Starlight Multi-Jurisdictional Be On The Lookout (BOLO) module was designed to streamline, automate, and better manage the entire lifecycle of the BOLO creation, approval, dissemination, and disposition process for persons (PoI) and vehicles (VoI) of interest as well as “wanted” subjects.

It is designed as an agency-specific and multi-jurisdictional solution to provide LEA’s the ability to quickly and accurately notify law enforcement personnel by individual, role, geography and/or jurisdiction.

The BOLO module significantly reduces the time, effort and opportunity cost that most LEA’s experience with BOLO’s and now provides them with a comprehensive management tool.

Plan-of-Action

The Plan-of-Action module is an after-action reporting tool that provides a summary analysis of incident response data captured during the incident response and recovery phases, all in real time.

Agencies can create Plan-of-Actions based on upcoming pre-planned events, potential incidents by geography, and units assigned.

By creating a Plan-of-Action, StarLight® can capture specific information related to these events and incidents from the many different systems that can be integrated into StarLight®.  This can include CAD calls for service, gunshot detection, AVL, LPR, and more.

Proximity Analyzer

The Proximity Analyzer allows investigators and end users to quickly search information on all incidents, from all integrated sources, in one centralized location (StarLight®). This gives investigators access to start their investigations when and where they need it.

The Proximity Analyzer speeds up the process to real-time and allows access from any location (computer, laptop, phone).

Quickly zero in or out on locations, time spans, and data sets all through one user interface and application.

Save time and get prolific information to enhance real-time decision making and reduce workload.

Reports and Analytics

StarLight® provides reports, crime analysis, analytics to support CompStat, violence suppression operations, car thefts and any agency led initiative.

Since StarLight® aggregates disparate systems into one common operating platform, agencies can now run reports on synthesized data from all integrated systems from one central location providing analysis and context that was previously not available.
